Born and raised in South Africa, I have lived and working in London in the UK and currently live and work in southern Sweden.

I am a trained journalist, and strategic communication specialist with experience from the media industry in London (BBC, The Guardian, Press Association) and South Africa (ELLE decoration, ELLE magazine), and the private and public sector in Sweden.

While words and content are my bread-and-butter, art & crafts are another passion that gives me time for reflection and a lot of joy. In my art, I am deeply inspired by nature and you will see frequent birds, animals, and insects populating my canvases, but there are also people and paper and card. I am into sustainability and the the reuse and repurposing of materials, while attempting the pursuit of meaningful, mindful and purposeful living.
